Mark Edgar, managing director of AFM rose to the challenge to return to the shopfloor and spend a couple of days with our engineers recently.
Mark assisted AFM engineer Brian Hamlon (pictured) and the Jersey Reactive team with electrical and plumbing tasks for a major client that offers a reactive service to its tenants.
This is an extremely important and often risky part of our Jersey business as the contract is a time critical arrangement, so time is always of the essence.
For him, witnessing the courteous nature of both the engineers he worked with during the day was rewarding and refreshing. Mark said: "It was a pleasure to see how well both engineers coped with the workload. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I am very proud of how our employees conduct themselves out there in the marketplace." During their time together, Mark managed to identify a number of opportunities to help the engineers in their day to day tasks.
