This week (2nd to 6th July) members of AFM Guernsey are supporting Male Uprising Guernsey’s (MUG) Bermuda shorts week.
This is the second year the team have taken part in this charity event and all money raised from this year's Bermuda Shorts Week will pay for the continued supply of sun cream dispensers in schools around the Bailiwick. Parents are still asked to ensure their child goes to school with sun cream on in the summer, however these dispensers will enable children to reapply sun cream after P.E, swimming or before lunch and break times.
The traditional Bermuda office wear comprises smart shorts, long socks, shirt, tie and a suit jacket or blazer. This combination dates back to the First World War when there was a shortage of clothing in Bermuda
