AFM engineers undergo F-Gas training in the UK

Mark Larry, Kris Rosamond and Steve Le Tissier recently undertook the following qualifications at their 10 day training course at Business Edge in Portsmouth.

This involved classroom theory covering Ohms Law, Pressure Enthalpy graphs, superheat and subcooling calculations, current regulations and the Kyoto Protocol and time was spent undertaking practical workshop exercises carrying out direct and indirect leak checking, recovering and recharging of systems and braising.

The training will give them the opportunity to vary their daily tasks away from basic maintenance and will see them carrying out small system and component replacements along with fault finding and diagnostics.
