AFM Guernsey wish GROW Ltd a 'fundraising' farewell

AFM Guernsey wish Grow Limited a 'fundraising' farewell by presenting the team with a cheque for £1548.00.

AFM have been proud supporters throughout last year and at the close of 2017, we sadly have to say good bye to the team at Grow Limited.

Throughout the year we carried out a number of fundraising events; charity weight loss challenge, dress down days, cake sales, Christmas raffle. A total of £2400 was raise throughout the year. AFM also donated a commercial lawnmower, provided IT support, provided cleaning services and also helped man the Grow stall at public events.

"During 2017 we have had an insight in to how this organisation supports our local community. We have been particularly impressed by the hard work carried out by the workforce, they are an asset to GROW Ltd and the community as a whole.” Martyn Pipet, Operations Manager

Edward Higgins – Manager, GROW Limited stated;

“The support of AFM throughout 2017 was invaluable to us!

From members of AFM staff giving their own time to help out at the vinery and social events, to donating funds to enable GROW to promote themselves further and gain wider recognition within the local community, to purchasing equipment for our Garden Maintenance Team.

Without the help of corporate sponsorship many disability charities in Guernsey would struggle.  AFM’s corporate responsibility ethic is to be commended – they have made a measurable difference to everyone who works and attends at GROW.

The Board of Directors, staff and everyone who uses GROW are extremely grateful for AFM’s support – and wish AFM continued success for the future.”
