Jersey General Hospital Contract

AFM Jersey projects team have successfully won the tender for the supply and installation of Mechanical Services for the Block F Ventilation Plant Replacement.

This will be the first time AFM have worked in the Hospital since installing the fire alarm system in 2016.

The programme will see completion of the works within four months, starting January 2022.

The work entails the removal of existing mechanical services; alterations to the existing CT heating system and chilled water system; alterations to ventilation systems and ductwork; installation of new air handling units; fans and associated ductwork along with upgrades of the mechanical/BMS controls systems.

Lead Project Manager Chantel Gratz commented “It’s nice to be back working in the hospital after a long period away and the team are chomping at the bit to get started.  Our links with Government entities are stronger than ever and undertaking these types of work not only benefit our colleagues and the business but also the wider community”.
