AFM offers a comprehensive plumbing service. We employ qualified plumbing engineers who deliver to high standards. Our team has extensive experience in dealing with reactive tasks, installation works, servicing and planned preventative maintenance for plumbing and heating systems.

Oil Boiler Works

Our Oftec registered engineers are able to undertake all aspects of oil boiler works including; boiler installation or replacement, servicing and commissioning as well as oil tank inspections, tank installation or replacement and catch pit/bund pump outs, clean outs and relining.

Planned Maintenance

Our team is able to design an ongoing preventative planned maintenance programme tailored to your plumbing system to ensure compliance to all current regulations and to ensure optimum performance.

Potable Water Testing

If your building has any form of hot or cold water storage systems, then you are required to test and sample the water. AFM accredited teams can manage required testing and sampling of water in hot and cold storage water storage systems.

Heating Systems 

Our dedicated team of engineers, will provide the regular maintenance for all your boilers, pumps, pressure sets and all associated mechanical plant, including regular inhibitor checks.

Condition Surveys

We are able to conduct condition surveys of you plumbing system to review soundness of installation and to confirm correct control and operation. These surveys can identify inefficiencies and our trained personnel will outline remedial actions required.

Thermal Inspections

Our state of the art thermal camera can help to quickly identify and pin point areas of any leaks within the building fabric.

Vented & Unvented Water Cylinders

Covering all aspects of vented & unvented hot water cylinders, water boiler (kettles), point of use water heaters and water coolers/chillers. All engineers are Bpec registered and AFM are warranty agents for Heatrae Sadia.

Water Hygiene Management and Control

AFM are able to conduct Legionella risk assessments which are the first step towards compliance with the Health and Safety Executives Legionella approved code of practice and guidance document ACoP L8. Whilst the guidelines are not law they are enforceable under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations. Our risk assessments will define actions required for compliance with the guidelines and provide a schedule for any required ongoing monitoring e.g. temperature monitoring.
